Participant Testimonials

"I didn't know that CBC even existed before this training. The work CBC does is amazing and so needed. I feel that not too many people know about it and it'll be good to 'spread the word' - the tools and skills at CBC to help and support those in need are unique and I know many could benefit."

"I thought the CBC Grief Informed training was well-executed. The variety of learning channels (videos, assignments, exercises, live zoom calls, etc.) provided for an engaging set of training sessions. Also, I really appreciate the resources provided since I can take them home and review in the future."

"It was an excellent interactive and learning experience overall."

About the Children's Bereavement Center and Lift From Loss for Adults

The Children's Bereavement Center (CBC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 with the mission to empower children, young adults, and their families to adjust to life after the loss of a loved one within a supportive community of their peers and to promote healthful grief, healing, and growth.

We provide free, weekly virtual grief support groups open to any individual or family across the country who is grieving the death of a loved one. To register for our grief support groups, you can call our registration number at (888) 988-5438 or email us as [email protected] where you will be connected with an intake coordinator.

In addition to our free, virtual grief support groups, the CBC also trains thousands of professionals each year on topics related to grief and loss. Due to the popularity of our training programs, we are now offering home-study courses.
